- Connect like-minded side saddle riders and enthusiasts Australia wide.

- Foster, promote and protect the interests of side saddle competitors

and horses in exhibitions and competitions. 

- Collect verify, public, print, produce and distribute literature or

information relating to side saddle riding, competing, instructing and

judging. 

- Encourage competitors, judges and show organisers to adopt and

abide by the standards, rules and requirements as recommended by

Side Saddle Australia for the conduct of events. 

- Promote good fellowship, fair play and sportsmanship amongst

members and those participating in or attending side saddle events.

- Foster relations with other equestrian organisations and bodies that allow side saddle or have similar aims and interests. 

- Encourage the inclusion of side saddle riding at events and competitions. 

- Sponsor side saddle awards and events at competitions.
